gerberoy

One Saturday afternoon during les vacances de Pâques, Virginie and I drove to the medieval town of Gerberoy. As we drove towards the town, she expressed concern that we'd have trouble parking, since it's a popular tourist destination. When we pulled into the obligatory parking lot, we had our choice of parking places because there was not a car to be seen. Seems we were just a few weeks early for the rose festival. No matter, it was nice to have the place to ourselves.

We wandered through the town, snapping pictures, admiring the classic cars that were parked under the trees and enjoying the sunshine.
