One month after my hard drive crashed, and two replacement hard drives later, I finally have my macbook back at home where it belongs. Problem is, my fingers have forgotten how to type. I've spent so much time on the computers at the school and at Rachel's house that my muscles now remember the azerty keyboard and I find myself searching for the m and the a, shifting to type a period and hunting for the other punctuation marks.
The other problem is that I don't know how to even begin catching up on what's happened in the last month. I've been to two other countries and the west of France since the last time I seriously wrote. I'm not even sure I can remember it all. And I'm not really going to have much time this weekend to blog, because I'm leaving on Sunday morning for a week in Italy with the school. Was I crazy when I agreed to chaperone, knowing full well that there was a 24-hour bus ride involved? I know, I know, such is the price I have to pay for living in France this year, not to mention a free trip to Rome and Florence.
